Fish Tacos (Weight-Loss Friendly & Easily Customizable)

This recipe is a family favorite and one of my go-to's for a QUICK dinner!

Ingredients
  

Protein – Pick One
  • 18.2 oz bag Gordon's Fisherman's Filets (air fried)
  • Fresh fish (air fried)
  • Shrimp
  • Chicken
  • Any protein you enjoy
Slaw
  • 10 oz bag Shredded cabbage
  • Shredded carrots
  • Thinly sliced red onion
  • Salt and pepper
  • Chick-fil-A Apple Cider Vinegar dressing
  • Pickled jalapeños
  • A splash of jalapeño juice (to taste)
Lower-Carb Options
  • Low-carb Dressing
  • Make your own dressing vinegar, a little oil, and a sweetener packet
To Serve
  • Lime wedges
  • Corn tortillas
Lower-Carb Options
  • Low-carb tortillas
  • Lettuce wraps
  • Skip the tortilla altogether—you do you, boo!

Method
 

  1. Air fry the fish according to package directions (or cook your preferred protein). Combine all slaw ingredients and toss until well mixed. Warm tortillas. Assemble tacos with fish, slaw, and a squeeze of fresh lime.

Notes

Weight-Loss Tip: 
Focus on the protein and slaw first. Adjust the tortilla (or skip it) based on your goals and preferences.
